This is largely copied from similar work in go-containerregistry
This required moving the Root command definition out of main() into a
place where it could be referenced from the gendoc tooling.

This was previously `ko auth login`, which I've hidden, and perhaps we
can alias to `ko login` in the future, but in theory folks could have
been using `ko auth get`, and I don't want to break that for no reason.
* Add support for recursively resolving directory symlinks.
This adds support for properly resolving directory symlinks within kodata.
I verified that with this I can symlink `.git/refs` into `kodata/` and (with
changes) resolve the `.git/HEAD` symlink to read the appropriate
`ref: refs/heads/...` files with the commit SHA.
