Drop the detailed translations because I can not keep this up to date
anyhow. Having the current options in the readme is more important I
guess. This whole translation business is a problem on its own and not
solved.

The license of Bitstream Vera requires patched fonts to contain neither
"Bitstream" nor "Vera" in the name. It explicitly requires that also
for fonts that (only) add some glyphs.
Yes, we are rather late to notice this :-( Sorry.

Rename Bitstream Vera to BitstromWera, and also drop the Sans Mono part
of the name. The new name looks and sounds similar enough to get the
reference, while being shorter and somewhat logical.

Both are full fledged families, one specifically for terminal, the other
not. Although it might be that people want both there is a likelyhood
that some just need one set.
Splitting these makes the individual release packages smaller and more
handable, and improves release workflow run time.

They started with new version numbering and have different version on
each subset.
The complete naming set changed. See their website to find the font you
used before.

they infact have a RFN (and we act on that, so that is just a
documentation issue).

Tried to come up with a good link to each of the source fonts. Some have
just been released once years ago and have no homepage anymore: They now
have a link to google's font repository or at least the designer name
mentioned.
Also checked all fonts for upstream updates, results are in
https://github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts/discussions/962#discussioncomment-3894678
Raw links can be linked to HEAD (which resides in the default branch)
rather than - (which is the default branch).

With addition of the version the lines are too long to be rendered
without wrap in the default gitlab width.
The EM size is not really relevant for most, while the version is.
And we want a concise table, so something has to leave.
