This may break some valid tiff files, it appears the specification does not require the offsets to be increasing. They increase in the 2 test files i have though except the last offset which is 0 (an end marker) and for which a special case is added to avoid asking for a sample for that end marker. FFmpeg is a collection of libraries and tools to process multimedia content such as audio, video, subtitles and related metadata.

Contributing
Patches should be submitted to the ffmpeg-devel mailing list using
git format-patch or git send-email. Github pull requests should be
avoided because they are not part of our review process and will be ignored.
